Utopolis
WINS GERMAN COMPUTER GAME AWARD
Three months after the release of the multiplayer app, Utopolis has won the German Computer Game Award (DCP) 2015. The award, which was presented on April 21 as the best serious game, primarily refers to the democratic multiplayer concept. According to this, the players may and should determine the rules and procedures according to the majority principle. Thus, cooperation is the key to successfully completing the serious game. Also, the players are automatically confronted with and familiarized with political-democratic principles. This basic approach enabled the production team to prevail among the 320 submissions. The implementation was done by Reality Twist in cooperation with the client Nemetschek Foundation .
Utopolis is available for download for smartphones and tablets in the App Store and on Google Play. For the corresponding links as well as information about the project, click on "to the project".
